Glad you stopped by! I live in Rhinelander, Wisconsin and have been playing the guitar for 25 years. I play by ear and by heart. The players I've looked up to include; Jimi Hendrix, Tony Iommi, Steve Vai, Robin Trower, Eric Johnson, Frank Marino, Stevie Ray Vaughn, , Alex Lifeson, Joe Satriani, Wes Montgomery, Alvin Lee, John Petrucci, and Al Di Meola.

What I try to take from these guitarists is the passion and attitude I hear in their playing, and the honesty and integrity with which they present themselves. Above all, they taught me how to lay my heart out on my strings, and to always play as if it's the last time. I hope you hear some of that in my playing.

Instrumental music is my vehicle of choice to convey ideas, feelings and moods. If I can shut down my brain, listen to my heart, and let my fingers play what they want, hopefully strange things happen (musically) and something catches my ear. Inspiration comes from many sources including books, newspapers, music, and TV. My favorite source of inspiration comes from the people I talk to: family, friends, and even people I've just met who happen to cross my path. As Hendrix said, "Everyone you meet leaves their fingerprints on your brain."

I have 7 CD's currently available: Strange Days (2002) 80 minutes, Words Fail (2003) 78 min., Sound Advice (2003) 80 min., New Clear Winter (2004) 80 min., The Order Of Chaos (2004) 76 min., Hear In The Forest (2006) 75 min. and a collection of acoustic pieces from all my discs, Acoustic Aberrations (2006) 80 min. All the recordings except Acoustic Aberrations cover many diverse styles of music; rock, jazz/fusion, metal, blues, psychedelic, acoustic (both steel and nylon string), and some tracks that defy classification. If you like to hear the same song or variations thereof throughout a disc you may be disappointed; if you love many styles of music (as I do!) changing drastically from one song to the next you'll be rewarded with a trip like no other. All songs were written, performed, recorded, and produced by yours truly. CD cover photo credits go to Mark, Dad & Greg.

None of these discs would have been possible without plenty of help from above and here below. I have had some very special people supporting me, believing in me, and inspiring me to create this sonic assault. You all know who you are and what you mean to me, and have my eternal thanks. Huge thanks to Greg for all his time and effort in getting me on the Internet and again to Greg and his wife, Joy, for including The Sun Still Shines ( AKA The Loon Song) on the Loons, Lakes & Mist DVD. The DVD was packaged with the book, Call Of The Loon, and is available from Willow Creek Press (www.WCPretail.com). Special thanks to my brother ,Mark, for everything! -- He's given me very sound advice; helped in equipment selection, hand built both the Sound Savage Distortion/Sustainer pedal, and the Question Mark lo-fi converter, which to my ear also works as a 5 position battery free compressor (if you would like the plans for building the converter, just e-mail me and I will e-mail you back the instructions which came form Guitar Player magazine). Mark has also lent me his ears when mine have lost their objectivity. Thanks 'Bro.' .

Extra special thanks go out to you for taking the time to read this, feel free to drop me an e-mail with your thoughts or comments - as always, Take Care!!
